Services - Flitelab

"Flitelab allows you to view your property in a very unique light. The team is excited to tackle challenges and works with you to identify the right solution for your project."

Stephanie Schnare - Marketing Director - Halifax Shopping Centre

"I used the FliteLab team to create aerial video footage during the International Federation of Disabled Sailing Worlds 2014 held at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron in Halifax Nova Scotia. They captured stunning aerials of the facility, departure of the athletes on opening day and then operated a drone from the deck of a boat to capture more on-water activity. These guy's are pros and their gear is amazing. Nothing but praise for their attitude, dedication and professionalism – just a great team to work with."

Dean McNeill - Communications and Marketing Chair - IFDS WORLDS 2014

Rules of the Sky - And FYI

Within Canada the commercial use of drones/UAVs is managed and controlled by Transport Canada. Anyone doing work with these devices must have what is called a Special Flight Operations Certificate or SFOC, along with  UAV specific aviation liability insurance.

Be sure to always use an operator that follows the rules as you could end up with liability issues on your end if something were to go wrong.

For further info see Canadian Commercial Drone Regulations “For Dummies” or feel free to contact us for more insight into the topic.  In addition to being an operator we also provide consulting services and assistance with the SFOC and related processes, training, and support.
